What's on this sheet
A child who has just finished a page of subtraction will often subtract the first two numbers of an addition question without noticing. That is not a gap in arithmetic, it is a reading habit, and the only way to build the other habit is to have both signs on the same page. Interleaving feels harder than either operation alone, and that extra difficulty is the whole reason to do it.
Why this sheet works
Numbers here run to 100 and carrying and borrowing are both left in, so a question may need a written method as well as a decision. That combination is what an end-of-unit check at this level actually asks for, which is why this sheet belongs after the two single-operation ones rather than beside them.

63 − 36
36=30+6
63−30=33
33−6=27
- 63 − 36, across the line. Split only the 36 — the amount being taken away — and take it off in two goes.
- The tens first: 63 − 30 = 33.
- Then the ones off what is left: 33 − 6 = 27. Nothing had to borrow, because each go came off the whole number rather than off one place.
