What's on this test
The first section is bookkeeping made difficult by one thing: a subtraction distributes its minus sign across every term in the second bracket, and the terms after the first are where the marks are lost. Multiplying is the same discipline in the other direction — every term against every term, then gather.
How the paper is put together
Long division of polynomials is the section this paper is really for. It is the same algorithm as the numeric long division learned years earlier, and saying so out loud is most of the teaching: divide the leading terms, multiply back, subtract, bring the next term down. Each question prints in the familiar house so the alignment does the remembering. The difference of squares closes the paper because it is the pattern that makes some of this unnecessary — a² − b² factors on sight, and spotting it is worth more than grinding it out.
