Capacity10 marks
Read each amount, then shade the jug up to the correct mark.
To pour out 600 ml, you have to know where 600 ml is before any water moves. These free printable worksheets give six amounts and six empty 1-liter beakers, and the child shades each one up to the right mark.
If they get stuck

The answer key prints on a separate page.
Every beaker has the same scale, from 0 to 1000 ml with a numbered mark every 100 ml. A child looks at the amount above the beaker, finds that mark, and shades everything below it. It sounds like reading a beaker in reverse, and it is, but the child now has to start at the bottom and fill up rather than look at a level that is already there.
The shading is the part worth watching. Water fills a beaker from the base, so the shaded part has to reach all the way down to 0. A child who colors a band around the 600 mark has found the right number and still has not shown 600 ml, and that gap is easy to talk about with the sheet on the table.
