What's on this sheet

Each problem shows a thermometer with labeled endpoints, evenly spaced ticks, and a visible liquid level. The child reads the top of the liquid against the scale and writes the temperature with the degree symbol and unit. Values sit exactly on a marked tick, so the work is about understanding the scale rather than estimating between lines before that idea is ready.

Why this sheet works

The six thermometers vary across the useful range instead of repeating one part of the scale. Reading from the bottom, counting equal intervals, and checking the neighboring labels all reinforce the same number-line reasoning children later use with graphs and measurement tools. The answer page preserves the same diagrams and adds the correct liquid readings for quick checking.
