These expectations have no sheet, for two different reasons. Listing them is the point — a catalog that showed only the hits would say this grade is fuller than it is.

2A.2A — Graph the square root, reciprocal, cubic, cube root, exponential, absolute value and log parent functions.

Seven parent graphs drawn and analysed as a set. The engine writes questions about one function at a time and never asks for the family.

2A.3A — Formulate systems, including three linear equations in three variables.

Three equations in three unknowns. Our systems sheets are 2x2, and a 3x3 solved by hand is a page of working rather than a question.

2A.3B — Solve a 3x3 linear system by Gaussian elimination, matrices or substitution.

Gaussian elimination on a 3x3 — see 2A.3A.

2A.3E — Formulate systems of at least two linear inequalities in two variables.

A two-variable inequality's answer is a shaded region — see A.2H.

2A.3F — Solve systems of two or more linear inequalities in two variables.

A shaded region — see A.2H.

2A.3G — Determine possible solutions in the solution set of a system of inequalities.

A shaded region — see A.2H.

2A.4A — Write the quadratic function through three given points.

Fitting a parabola to three points is a 3x3 system in a and b and c — see 2A.3A.

2A.4E — Formulate quadratic and square root equations from a table of data.

The expectation names the technology: a regression or a correlation coefficient computed with a calculator. A printed sheet cannot ask for the tool to be used.

2A.4H — Solve quadratic inequalities.

The answer is an interval on the line rather than a value. The engine's quadratic sheets all ask for the roots.

2A.6J — Judge the reasonableness of a solution to a rational equation.

Checking a root against the excluded values. Our rational sheets simplify rather than solve, so there is no root to check.

2A.6K — Determine asymptotic restrictions on the domain and write them in interval notation.

Domain and range as a stated set — see A.2A — with asymptotes on top of it.

2A.7I — Write the domain and range in interval, inequality and set notation.

Domain and range as a stated set — see A.2A.

2A.8A — Select the appropriate model from linear, quadratic and exponential.

Choosing between three model families for one data set. Each of our modelling sheets names its family in the instruction.

2A.8B — Use regression through technology to fit linear, quadratic and exponential functions.

The expectation names the technology: a regression or a correlation coefficient computed with a calculator. A printed sheet cannot ask for the tool to be used.
